We live in California, rented our house for a couple of years due to soft market conditions. Once we were ready to purchase a house in CA, we needed to sell our Geneva IL home. We looked at various realtors in the area. They were helpful and honest. But our home needed work: new carpet, new paint, landscaping. Trying to manage all of these efforts 2,000 miles would be a challenge. While in town for a weekend, I bumped into Kelly at a Home Depot who was just helping me with opinions, etc....without even knowing our situation. Once I told her what we needed, she immediately offered to help with the repair work. And with that, we signed up with Kelly. Kelly arranged for trades to send quotes and do the work. This was extremely helpful to us that most realtors did not offer at all. Once the work was done, home went to market in a challenged location. Kelly's marketing efforts and persistence helped sell our home in a timely fashion.
